Now reservations for Jaats too!
Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar was against the policy of reservations though he wanted that the Dalits of India be emancipated and given their respectful place in the Society. But as usual the Congress Party that came to power in 1947 could not let go this golden opportunity to play this poll stunt and make Dalits as their permanent voters bank. Now Jaat reservation though discriminatory because all Jaats from non-Congress state government are not included in this poll plank is another vote bank policy of the Congress government. The Congress Party though responsible for giving us the best constitution in the world where personal freedom is supreme has become party to the Brahmanical thought to keep society divided on the basis of the castes. Giving priviledges to certains castes is contrary to the constitutional freedom and spirit of those who work hard to hold merit. The concept of reservation in itself causing great sociological damage in this country. The higher virtues of love for fellow human beings, equality, and brotherhood are being tarnished by these vote bank policies. The crime against weaker section of the society is on the increase. The emancipation and eradication of caste system can never take place in this country with these anti equality vote bank policies.
