Gems of Gurbani
Guru Granth Sahib
Sukhmani Sahib  21
Ashtapadi 8 conitnues :
Brahmgyani (the one who has obtained the knowledge of the Lord) knows only one Form of the Lord and Lord abides in his heart. God’s Name is the mainstay for Brahmgyani and the Name is his only family.  Brahmgyani is totally awakened and he has abandoned that self – conceited intellect. Now Brahmgyani has become blessed with supreme bliss and there is eternal happiness in his home and there is celestial peace. Such Brahmgyani O Nanak has no end to meet (pad 5).
Brahmgyani has obtained the complete proficiency about God and he knows that there is only One Lord. Knowing this he has become free from all worries and pure in his doctrine of the Almighty. Brahmgyani is chosen by the Almighty so he comes to the glory and the most fortunate ones have the good fortune to get a glance of him. The dedicated and devoted feel exalted in their search of Him. Even the Mahesher (Shiva) is in search of such Brahmgyani who O Nanak, He is the Exalted God Himself (pad 6).
After obtaining the proficiency of Lord the Brahmgyani becomes priceless, everything abides in his heart. Who can know the secret of man who knows God? Offer your obeisance to the Brahmgyani because half a letter of his knowledge of God is difficult to narrate. Brahmgyani is the Lord of all. No one can describe his limits and no one can know his state of mind. The Brahmgyani has no end and no limits. O Nanak, pay your obeisance to such a Brahmgyani (pad 7).
‘In this next pad Guru Arjun ji finds that Brahmgyani who has now completely merged in the Supreme Lord has become one with Him and all the difference is now gone.’
Brahmgyani is the Creator of the Universe, he is immortal, he is the source of salvation for mortals, he is the perfect Creator Person, He is God to Godless, he blesses all (All humanity), because His creation the universe is his Form. Brahmgyani is the Formless Lord (only in His universe he becomes manifested). Brahmgyani is his own glory. Nanak, the Brahmgyani is the Lord of all (pad 8).
