Shlok Second Guru

All those who have taken the instructions from Guru (From Guru Nanak’s teachings) and have been taught and put on right path remain absorbed in the praises of One True Lord.

What instructions can be imparted to them who have taken instructions but have incarnated Guru Nanak? II 1 II

(This shlok of Guru Angad Devji is a big blow to all those learned people who have not learnt the message of Guru Nanak that the God is only One and He cannot be incarnated that means He can never take any form, shape, colour and birth).

First Guru

He, whom He Himself causes to understand, understands Him.

Whom the Lord Himself gives knowledge, he comes to know everything.

The Preachers are regularly preaching and sermons are being explained but long for money or wealth.

The Supreme commander has created the entire creation and He Himself understands the mental outlook of all.

Nanak, the Lord Himself has uttered the Word and all doubts vanish when the devotee understands this gift II 2 II

Pauri

Me, a jobless bard God has employed to His service. In the beginning He asked me to sing His praises day and night. Then the Master asked me, O bard come to my Court!

Then He clothed me with robes of His true honour and eulogy. Since then True name has become my ambrosial food.

They who follow the Guru’s instructions eat this food to their full satisfaction.

By singing the Guru’s hymns I the Bard, am spreading the word of God.

Nanak, by praising the True Lord I have obtained the perfect Lord II 27 II
