Guru Granth Sahib – 14
Guru Nanak’s belief that the Almighty, the Creator exists in His own creation, in each and every living thing in nature, he keeps falling in love with His Creation when he sees the way season’s change and bring new version of nature and the expectations, the urge to have a union with this Creator become intensive. In raag tukhari  Bara maha Guru Nanak expresses his journey of life and his union with Lord in the context of changes in nature throughout the year whereas Guru Arjun Devji expresses the changes in nature and urges his Sikh ( beloved wife) to keep company of saints to find union with the Almighty. Saints or Sadhu sangat’s company is important because a good company can invoke good nature in a person. The Bara maha written by Guru Arjun Devi ji in Raag Maajh is recorded from page 133 onwards in Guru Granth Sahib.
Chet Govind aradhiye hove anand ghanna II sant janah mil paiye rasna naam bhanna II
By remembering the Master of the Universe in the month of chetra a great rejoicing emanates. By meeting the pious people and uttering His Name with the tongue the Lord can be obtained.
Vaisakh dheeran kiyo waadiya jinah prem vichhoh II har saajan purakh visar ke laggi maya dhroh II
In the month of baisakh those who are separated, how can they have patience in this separation? They forget the beloved the Lord God and go in pursuit of deceitful wealth.
Vaisakh suhave tan lagge jan sant bhette har soiye II
The month of Vaisakh becomes beautiful if the company of saints enable a union with the Lord.
Har jeth juranda loriye jis agge sabhuh nivan II har sajjan davan lagiya kise naa deyi bann II
In the month of Jeth you ought to search for That Lord whom everyone bows. No one keep the beloved in bondage who has taken the protection of the Lord.
Har jeth rangeela tis dhani jis ke bhaag mathann II
In the month of Jeth the playful Master shall meet those who are chosen by Him.
Asad tapanda tis lagge har naa nah jinna paas II
The month of Haar is hot and severe for those who do not have the bliss of God’s name with them.
Asad suhanda tis lagge jis man Har charan nivas.
The month of Haar is pleasant to those who take Abode (shelter) in His feet.
